I was extremely honored to photography my friend Rabi marry Dave in the summer of 2012. They had a small, unique ceremony that was more picnic than wedding! Their friends and family met up in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park (the couple lives nearby, so they walked over) with quilts to sit on and local donuts to eat; the couple wore nice-casual clothes, their little dog was the attendant, and they exchanged meaningful necklaces instead of rings. The ceremony was short and meaningful, with readings done by the couples’ siblings, and vows they wrote for each other, without an officiant. It was a special day for them and I was so glad to be there to document it for them.
