Lindsay and Danny have a very cute toddler, Xavier. Lindsay told me that while she takes lots of great photos of her son, she is not usually in them. More than that, she especially wanted some great photos of all three of them together. I totally know how that goes! I was so happy to photograph them–I’ve said before that it’s one of my favorite things to capture the whole family, TOGETHER. When he’s older, I think Xavier is going to love seeing these photos of his cute little self with his parents!
Xavier was about 20 months old when we met, a month older than my twins. So it was a very familiar experience to hang out and chase after him with my camera. 🙂 Like most toddlers, he wasn’t sure what to make of a new person suddenly joining his family for awhile one morning. So, I hung back and let him do his thing.
I love how this stylish family coordinated their outfits–they’re all wearing shades of blue, and they don’t match, but they coordinate beautifully. And I love Lindsay’s swingy dress! Don’t miss Xavier’s dapper little dress shoes, too.
We were in northwest Portland, wandering around a few residential streets near NW 23rd, and exploring lots of sights and sounds. That included strangers’ stairs, garages, and flower beds! So much neat stuff to see.
After going around a couple blocks, we ended at a Wallace Park, with lots of great spaces. There was some going down slides, some bubble blowing, some running and jumping, and definitely some tickling and laughing! Xavier was having a fantastic time–he was playing and running around, having a grand time, everyone was loving on him. What a great day!
