We were out on a walk in our neighborhood a year or two ago, and came across a garage sale. At that garage sale was an amazing vintage wedding dress! The puffed sleeves! The lace! The ruffled skirt! Epically 80s, and one that I would have adored as a girl. I ran home to get cash and bought it.
…and then it sat in my photo room. Eventually I had an amazing concept to bring it out! Nicole modeled for me. The concept is a scorned or jilted bride who has just left – she’s got mascara running down her face, she throws off her shoes, grabs a bottle, and clutches her bouquet.
These turned out so perfectly! They’re exactly what I pictured.
