Two years ago I photographed this exuberant extended family, and this summer I had the honor of photographing them again! It was a very hot day but we found some shade to make it more bearable. We started out at Howell Park, which has a variety of charming elements–a grove of big evergreens, a little orchard, a historic house, tall grasses. Later we also went to a small lavender farm, which was gorgeous and smelled amazing. It was also filled with bees…but we didn’t bother them and they didn’t bother us. We did a variety of groupings and I also had fun just kind of tracking what the girls did. The hide and seek in the lavendar rows was particular adorable. 🙂 Anyway, this Sauvie Island Extended Family Photography session was a lot of fun and showed plenty of personality and connection!
