T and I had a great time on this little urban senior photography session in Northwest Portland near Legacy Good Sam. Kind of a random location, but there’s cool stuff everywhere to photograph with! And really, that’s one of my favorite ways to do a session–wander around and see what we come across and how we can use something interesting.

T is an awesome teen. I photographed them a few years back. They’re really into cosplay, so when I asked if we could use and glue fake plants onto them, they were like, sure! 🙂 They brought a whole bag of other cool clothes but we didn’t have time for them. Check out the coolest purse I’ve ever seen, though. I feel like we could do a whole theme session just with this prop! I did ask T to jump up onto a table at one point–the one with the blossoms behind them. The close-up portrait (which I LOVVVE and is my hands-down favorite from this session), I asked them to get up and then lay down on a wide wall next to the street. Which they were totally down to do, and it was worth it! 🙂

Do you know any teens who love playing with fashion and posing? I’d love to do a super fun, unique senior portrait session with them! We can design a session around exactly what they love–selecting a location, outfits, and more. Get ready for a great time!
