This lifestyle newborn photography session in Beaverton was so sweet! This family had recently moved into their home AND had baby Paxton–that’s a lot to deal with! We also scheduled the session when one set of grandparents were there, so we got to capture some lovely moments with the oldest and youngest generations. Which is so special! Plus their adorable dog got to join in for some family poses and candid moments too. We were able to photograph in a few different places around their home. We started in the main living area which is a natural place that they all hang out, and we also went into Paxton’s nursery. I always like keeping it easy for families and being able to include some details in their home along with the family and baby. Paxton stayed awake for most of the shoot, which in this style of session, is perfectly fine! (In a studio posed style session, usually baby needs to be asleep to be posed.) We got to see him awake, and yawn, and look right at the camera.
