Julie the Photographer offers on-location school photography for daycares, preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school.
Who will be our photographer?
I (Julie) have been photographing kids (from toddler through high school) for many years, and I bring a literal bag of toys for entertainment and fun!
Where are the photos taken?
You can choose between an outdoors or indoor studio setup! It doesn’t take up a lot of space, and I would love to meet you at the school beforehand to find a good location either inside or outside. We might find a spot outdoors near the entrance, or in an office.
When will our photos be taken?
It depends on your schedule! Some schools do both fall and spring photo days. Our schedule is fairly flexible, so inquire now to book a date that works for your school.
How long does it take?
Picture day is 30-40 minutes per class! As a former teacher myself, I understand that we don’t want to interrupt the day any more than necessary.
The individual galleries will be sent to families within a week or so.
There will be one make-up/retake date scheduled about a week after picture day.
What about class pictures?
We can do group photos on picture day, or we can do composite photos (individual pictures of students–this means anyone absent for the first picture day can be included!)
How do families order?
Every student has a private, personal online image gallery. Families can choose from several packages that include digital and print options, and order online easily.
How do families get the pictures?
For orders in the first 1-2 weeks, I will deliver individual, labeled envelopes to the school. After that, families can continue to order at their leisure with drop shipping to their home.
What about teachers?
All staff receive complimentary photos as well as copies of their class photos!
